What is Microcurrent?

Microcurrent is an electrotherapeutic modality that uses low levels of electrical current (less than 1 mAmp) to facilitate circulation and cellular healing or to reduce pain or edema.

Microcurrent is the subject of a field of biochemistry that concerns energy flow through living systems. This is an active area of innovative biological research that includes the study of thousands of different cellular processes that can lead to the production and utilization of energy in forms, such as adenosine triphosphate (ATP) molecules that store the energy all living creatures need.
